setting ping/ICMP to highest RT-AC66U_B1

how do i get it to make ICMP as highest priority as i am getting worse high ping response with this router (superhub 3 VM UK, currently in modem mode) just need to rule out what it is

SH3 suffers from the Puma bug (a quick search on VM forums and you'll see the issue reported everywhere!)

Is it possible to put the modem in to bridge mode?
Or replace it with a third party modem?

Good point lol sorry, I just wasn't sure if there was double Nat and routing was still enabled in the modem.

No problem. I used to have Virgin media and besides the horrifc BQM graphs I would also get nice random latency spikes, which would make for great fun in games.

Reminds me of the telstra adsl2 modem I had and how I suffered for ages on a horrible connection that had the speed lowered because of dropouts instead of them fixing the pillar in the street.
But Isp modems are garbage.
