Hi everyone.
I have an Asus RT-AC66U router with FW version 3.0.0.4.376_3861.
For some reason, my 2.4GHz speed is running slower then usual. I have a 100 down and 10 up plan with my ISP. I have been in contact with their support people and tested my connection from the modem. All ran well there and I was able to hit the 100 down and 10 up speeds.
When I test my connection through the Asus router at 2.4GHz, I'm only getting around 50-60 down and 10 up. I also notice that the signal strength bar on the Windows bottom left of the start menu loses a bar. (I'm right by the router?)
I've also tested my speeds on my iPad and have the same results.
Please note that on the 5GHz on either my laptop or iPad, I can consistently hit 120+ down and 10 up.
Any idea what could be causing this issue? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Please note that I used Speedtest to test my speeds and my ISP's speedtest site as well.
Cheers!
