Slow compared to ISP modem but Asus Speed Test Fast

Hi there,

I have a super weird problem. I have a Zyxel modem from my ISP, while it's pretty impressive id like to use my Asus AX86U. I have a 10GB connection and when using Wifi directly from the ISP modem I get about 618mbps down on my iPhone and close to 1000 on my Macbook. However when I use the Asus WIFI I only get 35mbps down on the iPhone or 18mpbs on the MacBook. Their modem doesnt have bridge mode but i have disabled the firewall, set static ip and enabled DMZ. When I run the speed test from the Asus web interface I get 1800 mpbs down and 2200mpbs up. Does anyone know what is going on?

Sounds like you're connected to 2.4ghz wifi and not 5.

I checked, connected to 5Ghz at 433mbps

Hard factory reset the Asus and configure just enough to get online. See if it improves.
