snmpd crash on RT-AX88U

Hello

im using the latest 384.10_2 with entware on a RT-AX88U Router and trying to run a snmpd Server.

Installed using #opkg install snmpd snmpd-utils

Configfile:
/jffs/configs/snmpd.conf:

agentAddress  udp:161
createUser admin
rwuser admin noauth

com2sec public default public
group public v1 public
group public v2c public
group public usm public

start with

#snmpd -c /jffs/configs/snmpd.conf

then the router crashed and reboots.
Any Ideas?

snmpd is not compatible with the RT-AX88U, this is why I don't enable that feature in my firmware.

You can't. As I wrote, is not compatible with that router. It crashes trying to poll the network switch.

did you changed that in the last update? Till the last update snmp worked. (dont know wich package i used)
Whats about the Entware "libnetsnmp" Package? Did this have the same problem?

I disabled net-snmp months ago because it was crashing, so it's nothing new. The same issue also existed with the RT-AC86U before the RT-AX88U got released.

It's not something that "I changed" either, it's simply not compatible with the closed source components from Broadcom.

No idea, I only tested net-snmp.

I assume this is still an issue since the SNMP tab is not present in the RT-AC86U Web GUI? Has this been tested recently with net-snmp and has the issue been raised with net-snmp?
