If I enable QOS (Default or FreshJR's) I can't seem to get to some Websites for example www.dslreports.com

I'm running a ASUS RT-AC3100 Firmware Version: 384.4_2

My Connection is Fiber 350 down 100 up.

I have done a factory reset and Initialize plus Format JFFS partition.

This all started after I upgraded my firmware from 384.3_0, all seemed ok..

2 days later my Lexar USB Key Died that was in the router that had AB-solution, pixelserver.tls , and FreshJR's

QOS script.

Replaced it with a Kingston DT50 3.1 USB Key and been having issues since. Tried with a few more USB Keys I

had, thinking it could be the problem. But issues remain.

I also just noticed if I enable the AiProtection it gives me the same issues with the same web pages.

I'm at a loss.

Any ideas?

Update..

I went back to Firmware Version:384.3

Setup router .. installed FreshJR's QOS script, installed entware, AB-Solution, Pixelserv.tls and Skynet.
Enabled QOS, AIProtection.

Been working great now for 6 hours, no issues..

SO I guess Firmware Version:384.4_2 has issues with RT-AC3100 tested with a fresh install of it factory reset x2, initialize x2, left everything at default just enabled QOS and I had issues with some web sites loading.

Dont think its a fw issue. Ive had no issues on my 3100 with any websites including dslreports as i use it all the time with freshjr as well. Might be a dns issue possibly?

It is strange, it ran fine for 2 days until the USB key died. Then for the life of me I could not get it working with QOS or the AIProtection enabled.. I did all the flush dns resets as well, Formating JFFS partition, multiple factory resets on router and ISP's modem, set them up manually. And all 4 desktop clients had same issues.. Also 2 tablets and 3 cell phones over WIFI.

Only way I could get it woking was going back to Firmware Version:384.3

One thing I noticed was the option to check Signature Version on the Firmware Update tab was missing, I could never get it to show..
Once I downgraded the firmware, it was there and it upgraded from 2.044 to 2.062.

I also tried the new alpha firmware RT-AC3100_384.5_alpha1 released last night, but it still didn't work.

Well the fact that the button is not visible to you suggests two possibilities to me... one the flash didnt flash properly somehow or...two your browser cache is showing you an old version which may be messing with your settings as well. I believe its ctrl+f5 in your browser to force a refresh of pages.

Well after going through my routers settings, I noticed my Jumbo Frame option was not enabled, I always enable this as I have set all my home network to use 9k Jumbo Packets.

After I enabled this my QOS was not working, tested in dslreports.com (But I could still access it) My buffer bloat was bad.. no matter what I set the dl/up speeds at in QOS it would go max speed.
And I could not load my pixelserv.tls stats page http://192.168.1.2/servstats

After disabling Jumbo Frames it's all working again.

As I always enable the Jumbo Frame when I set up the router.. this might of been my issue.

I will have to install Firmware Version:384.4_2 to test to see if this was the issue all along, but like I said I always enabled Jumbo Frames in the past without issue.
