spanning tree on wlan

I found that my rt-68u is sending STP packets on wlan. Seems legit to me! I do need STP on wlan! (read the irony!) I don't need it on wired also. I know each cable were it goes and there's no chance somebody will mess it up.

So I followed Merlin's advice from 2y ago:
nvram set lan_stp=0
nvram set lan0_stp=0
nvram commit

Followed by a reboot.

Problem solved!

I found also some UPNP packets advertising http://192.168.1.1:54111/rootDesc.xml. So I will disable also UPNP under WAN.

I really don't need any low speed packets or unnecessary packets in my wlan. I want a fast wlan and a fast router...no garbage whatsoever!
