I am running a 68U with firmware 384.8_2. I recently noticed an issue that I cannot figure out.

Comcast is my internet provider so I have their device outside of my Asus and I am forwarding the ports I need to my Asus, and then from Asus internal for the bare minimum. I have skynet running on my Asus but am only blocking incoming connections.

I noticed that on a website, and I suspect more, that I cannot connect to the site when connected to my Asus wifi but can with any other connection, like if I go to my comcast wifi. The site is https://www.shopthebayou.com. Its of no significance, but it always works when I do not go thru my Asus. I checked the skynet logs and it has no blocks outbound. I tried using a public DNS, like google, and it made no difference. I get name resolution 100% fine. I just cannot connect to port 443.

Any ideas what could cause this on my Asus?

Quick update....

Just for kicks, I disabled skynet and tried to get to the site. It worked in all of my browsers. I restarted skynet and now it is still working in all different browsers. This is very strange....

On different computers, its the same story. It doesn't work until I disable skynet. Once I disable it and try it in any browser it works. I turn skynet back on and it stays working. I've tried multiple computers and its the same result.

I do have some countries blocked in skynet, but I thought that was incoming blocks. I have no idea where the website is hosted, so it may not make any difference.

It’s outgoing and incoming.

And I too cannot connect to that site. I have some 30 countries blocked. If you flush your browser cache, after disabling and then enabling Skynet, would you still connect?

I seem to be getting inconsistent answers to that question on different computers. On one computer in a browser, after clearing the cache and skynet running, it doesn;t work. On another computer even when I clear the cache it still works. I did not clear browsing history, but I did clear the rest of the cache.

What if you reboot the intransigent computer?
