I don't know what it does with the data when there's less than 24 hours.

But when fully populated, the first number (left most) is for 24 hours ago whilst the last number (right most) is for 30 seconds ago.

So in your example, the first entry is 10pm the previous day. Followed by 22:00.30, 22:01.00, 22:01.30, etc. all the way past midnight, through the current day, until we get to the current time.

So this ties up exactly with the 24 hour graph on the router (reads left to right).

Yep, all confirmed. This is able to give me the stats and history information I need down to an hourly level. Now all I need is a cron job to stop the rstats service each night at midnight and copy the data off to the USB stick, naming the file with the date/time the file was created. I can then feed the data into a spreadsheet and graph it for the dates/times I need to prove to my ISP that their throttling policy isnt working properly :)
