OK I understand now.

There are 3 different things here.

1. The real-time graph which only exists when you're looking at it.
2. The last 24 hours graph (which you were looking at) which only shows the last 24 hours (duh) or the data since the router was rebooted, whichever is shorter. This is because this data is stored in a temporary file.
3. Daily/monthly summary data which is stored in the rstats file. This data can be stored on a USB drive to preserve it through reboots.

Good - it seems that we all understand what's what with this data. Whether I'll remember or not is another thing as I do tend to forget things these days (it's an age thing I think, or what the scientists would clinically call The Second Law of Thermodynamics). I think I'll actually wait until tomorrow morning to reboot the router as no-one else will be using the internet at that time.

Reboot test done. It does seem to be working now. It's is somewhat confusing thought the way it is set up with Traffic Analyzer/Last 24 Hours, not being preserved after a reboot, Traffic Analyzer/Daily only being preserved if an external memory device is attached and Traffic Analyzer/Statistic being preserved without the need for an external memory device.

One other thing - the y-axis on the Last 24 Hours graph sometimes doesn't display the data in the best way (see before and after reboot screenshots).
