Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to get softflowd working on an RT-AC88U running 384.8_2. When I try to run

  • /opt/sbin/softflowd -i eth0 -v 5 -n 192.168.xxx.yyy:4379 -d &

I get back:

  • -sh: /opt/sbin/softflowd: not found

But, I do see that /opt/sbin/softflowd is defintiely there, and the user path contains /opt/sbin.

I'm open to any and all suggestions.

Thanks!

Are you using tab to auto complete the path (so no typing errors)?

What is the output of ls -al on that file?

Just to follow up on this thread. Tried a few more things with softflowd, but kept getting inconsistent results. The only constant factor was that it wasn't working. Since this is an evaluation proof of concept, the decision was made to move on to the next unit to test, an RT-AC86U. And within a couple hours, results are seen within the server receiving flow data. Would have been nice to also have SNMP on the 86U, but I can live without that.

One of the deciding factors to move on is the fact that the USB drive being used for the 88U could never be formatted by that system. Was using the 86U to format the USB drive. So why not just skip the middle man, and only use the 86U?
