Even this will not be a problem - on existing SSD are stored about 1 000 000 files and everyday additional 10 000 are added and no issues so far. But I will see how it will behave.In my opinion, the issue is how file sharing is implemented in Asuswrt. It works for light duty tasks, but fails under load. If the data you are going to store/share is important to you, better get a real NAS and leave the router alone.
