Can I connect multiple drives to one USB port via USB hub to AX88U? Has someone tried?

In my opinion, the issue is how file sharing is implemented in Asuswrt. It works for light duty tasks, but fails under load. If the data you are going to store/share is important to you, better get a real NAS and leave the router alone.

Even this will not be a problem - on existing SSD are stored about 1 000 000 files and everyday additional 10 000 are added and no issues so far. But I will see how it will behave.

Reason is that I don't want to reinstall all things due to bigger drive, so I will add additional one there ... Anyway it is only some sort of storage, nothing else.
