I have an existing RT-AC68U but am replacing it with a RT-AC87R tomorrow.

Does it make sense to use the RT-AC68U as a bridge / repeater / or access point for the new router?? I would like some faster speeds in my office a bit of a ways from the router/modem.

Thanks

After getting my AC87U, I bridged it (wired - AP mode) with my N66U and now I've got better coverage & good speed in other rooms.
