I installed the latest official fw (.378_9460) few days ago and now i notice that the wan led blinks constantly. The router is doing something and causing the led in the modem (ethernet) blinks constantly too. I use ac87u as in the router mode.

Is there way to see what ac87u is doing? It cant be any other device because that was the first thing i checked (turned them off/not connected) and when i turn off the router, the blinking stops in the modem too. So it cant be some random connections from internet either.

I already did a factory reset.

i disconnected usb harddrive etc to get log file to be less info.

couldnt figure it out so i reseted the cable modem too... didnt help... and i finally ended up using the router mode for the cable modem instead of the bridge mode. let see how it is going to work..

Yeah same thing, my internet speed doesnt reduce though. Unfortunately it seems to be that the cable modem cant handle connections well when in the router mode (ethernet between ac87u and the cable modem) and it becomes unstable - data doesnt move from time to time - wlan is off in the cable modem and hence all connections (wired/wireless) goes via ac87u. I think this was the reason in the first place too that i put it in the bridge mode.
