Where to download n66 merlin 3.0.0.4_270.26b?

I have heard this is a stable and very good with connectivity. I can't find it on his site, can anyone post a link to where I can download it? I have the N66u Router.

Firmware 3.0.0.4_270.26b is the firmware I am looking for.

Not a good idea.
That's old and a lot of security patching has been done as well.

Get Merlins latest, same WiFi range on the RT-N66U compared to the old SDK5 versions.

Which of recent merlin & asus original works best?
I have tried them both and they first works fine but after a while they get worse!

Merlins latest is 374.40
Up and running for 3 days on my RT-N66U.
Seems stable here.

No clue about Asus stock firmware.
Never used it.

What do you see getting worse?

It's for when you have 2 internet connections coming in to your prem. You can set the router up to load balance or failover between them.

Those older archived versions will not work on the newer RT_N66U revisions, which uses a different type of flash memory. That's the reason why they were archived, and those older RT-N66U builds are in a folder clearly labelled that they are for Revision B1 only. Flashing it on a newer revision will soft brick your router, requiring the use of the firmware recovery tool from Asus to flash a compatible version again.
