So my AX58U was delivered today and I hooked it up tonight after work. It supports DFS, but only channels 52-64. Compared to my AX86U, it's missing 100-112 & 132-144 (114 & 118-128 are not allowed in Canada)
Since the AX58U is a 160MHz router and the only 160MHz band available in Canada is 36-64, I suspect they only support 52-64 to allow 160Mhz to work. I'm annoyed that they went through the effort to get certified for DFS in Canada, but limited it to a single 80MHz band. It will work for my needs, but I still feel slightly cheated. At least I can stop looking.
