What's new

Why can't I set a channel for 2.4g other than 36/40/44/48? (bad radio?)

wl0_chlist is 36 40 44 48
wl1_chlist is 149 153 157 161 165
wl0_chlist is 0

I'm thinking just setting them different may not be the right move.. if the radio isn't broken maybe the enumeration is wrong somewhere?

I cleaned the passwords from the cfg if posting that would be any use.

Your router is indeed missing one of its three radios. I see eth1 and eth2, but there's no eth3. That first one is failing to start:

Code:
Jul 31 19:00:43 kernel: PCI_PROBE:  bus 3, slot 0,vendor 14E4, device 4365(good PCI location)
Jul 31 19:00:43 kernel: PCI: Enabling device 0001:03:00.0 (0140 -> 0142)
Jul 31 19:00:43 kernel: dhd_attach(): thread:dhd_watchdog_thread:186 started
Jul 31 19:00:43 kernel: dhd_detach(): thread:dhd_watchdog_thread:186 terminated OK
Jul 31 19:00:43 kernel: dhd_attach(): thread:dhd_watchdog_thread:187 started
Jul 31 19:00:43 kernel: dhd_detach(): thread:dhd_watchdog_thread:187 terminated OK
Jul 31 19:00:43 kernel: dhd_attach(): thread:dhd_watchdog_thread:188 started
Jul 31 19:00:43 kernel: dhd_detach(): thread:dhd_watchdog_thread:188 terminated OK
Jul 31 19:00:43 kernel: dhd_attach(): thread:dhd_watchdog_thread:189 started
Jul 31 19:00:43 kernel: dhd_detach(): thread:dhd_watchdog_thread:189 terminated OK
Jul 31 19:00:43 kernel: dhd_attach(): thread:dhd_watchdog_thread:18a started
Jul 31 19:00:43 kernel: dhd_detach(): thread:dhd_watchdog_thread:18a terminated OK

If the same thing happens after a factory default reset, then you'll need to RMA your router, sorry.

dead spider...

Like RMerlin mentions above - arrange for an RMA for exchange or return...

Amazon is cool with this - devices do arrive DOA sometimes...

Have done multiple factory default resets. No change.

Replacement initiated. Thanks so much for the advice.
