Is this statement still correct? I cant find older firmwares anywhere?
  • The RT-AC68U and RT-AC56U need to be at least on firmware 378.55 (or the last 378.xxx version from Asus) before you can flash 380.xx, due to the partition size change.

Have you got the RT-AC68U or the RT-AC86U?

If the latter, you wouldn’t need 378.55 by definition, and Merlin isn’t going to offer such an outdated firmware for a model which doesn’t not require the intermediate firmware in the 2-step process.

So which router do you have?
