New Around Here
I have an RT-AX88U running v3004.388.8_2 and recently configured it to use the free Proton VPN using the Wireguard client. All is working fine now since I figured out how to use the VPN Director rules from this forum. Thanks to all that helped.

I want to use the NextDNS server address in place of the Proton DNS server address in the "Interface" section for Wireguard client of "DNS Servers (Optional)" setting. Normally I would think there would be a place for both Preferred and Alternate server addresses but that's not the case. Can I add both by separating the two with a comma, space, colon, semi-colon, etc.? For the time being, I entered the Preferred address and it works fine. Maybe I don't need to worry about having the Alternate address in there?

Thanks, PB

Nope, the router is using "exclusive" dns redirect for Wireguard only. This means a firewall rule that simply changes destination address on dns packets for clients using the vpn. There are no track whether it's working or not and no round Robin.

Perhaps you can but only 1 will be used.

Why would you worry?
