WireGuard VPN PreUp Option to Run Command Before Client Connects?

Is there a way to add the PreUp WireGuard VPN option either via the GUI or via SSH when setting up a WireGuard VPN client on the router? I need to run a command just before the client (on the router) starts the WireGuard VPN connection and usually this is done via the PreUp configuration option.

Merlin has wgclient start and stop scripts and wgserver start and stop scripts. Never used them, so not sure how they integrate with firmware. Check out Merlin's wiki on user scripts.

Thanks, that might work. I asked a question related to one of these scripts (https://www.snbforums.com/threads/d...e-or-after-wireguard-client-is-started.87152/) to find out exactly when it runs.
