My Asus wireless router has the same MAC for the 5 GHz port and the LAN (wired) port.
Someone once explained to me that it's not uncommon for a wired port and a wireless port to share the same MAC. But I still don't understand it.
Would someone please explain how it is that my 5 GHz network can share its MAC with my Ethernet network?
