Use for online game on Xbox Live

I point out an unbearable latency, they are aware that adaptive qos does not work, but also with traditional Qos or off the games are unjustable. I tried to disconnect all the devices and leave only the Xbox connected but without result.

The problem was also present on previous routers, mitigated only by the use of Flexqos. But is it possible that without the use of a "mod" there is an unsolved problem for years?

Do you have the modem/router (Draytek Vigor 167) in bridge mode?

I don't experience this at all with my PPPoE fiber connection and Ethernet connected RT68U or AX86U Pro without any QOS

Not sure the issue, but having used the N66U, AC68U, and still using the AC86U with Virgin Media and Sky broadband over the years, I've never had any performance issues with Xbox or PlayStation online when wired or wireless, other than the usual odd high ping and lag you get on faraway servers.

DSL can be a problem even with the wonky Asus QOS. When I was on DSL doing a speed, or bandwidth, test then setting the QOS to manual with the settings at 90 % of the test results seemed to help. If your DSL speeds vary, go lower on the settings.

Edit: Maybe a WIFI 7 router was not a good choice...

There's no Asus-specific reason for you to be experiencing this problem, especially as other people don't have this issue. So I suggest you try lowering the MTU value and see if that fixes the problem. If it doesn't then I'd say this is an ISP related problem.

Yes, same problem with another dsl modem, the zyxel vmg4005

Your DrayTek Vigor167 device is a modem/router. Do you have the same issues when your Xbox is connected directly to DrayTek device in gateway/router mode? Yes - it's your Internet connection. No - it's your device connected after DrayTek.

Ah, good catch! DSL/PPPoE MTU recommended @ 1492.
