Xfinity speed issues

S33 is in mid-split testing.
Right now there are four retail devices approved for mid-split on Comcast/Xfinity.
They updated the Xfinity list to show what’s compatible in my area. The S33 is actually listed again. Unfortunately while the modems can handle over 2G Xfinity won’t approve it past 1.2G. Meaning anyone on a 2 gig plan is stuck with their equipment. I ended up complaining to them after the technician proved it was an issue with bad lines. They covered my modem for 2 months.

Told them I’d run speed tests weekly which triggers the system to send out a tech if you get low speeds if you approve. Told them I’d approve it weekly if they didn’t compensate the issue of low speeds and forcing me to use their equipment.
