Hello everyone
hope you are all doing well
----------------------------------
Current setup
GS-AX5400 ( Main Aimesh Router )
GS-AX5400 ( AiMesh node )
GT-AC5300 ( AiMesh Node )
Wifi 5Ghz is AiMesh connection
-----------------------------------
my plan is to add ( GT-AX1100 ) to be the main AiMesh Router
-----------------------------------
i logged in into router dashboard, in Aimesh settings page , there is no option where it say ( change main aimesh node ) or ( Set Aimesh node as main router )

so based on that i guessed that the only way to change the main aimesh router is by destroying the whole network , and then rebuild again with the router i wanted to be running as main aimesh node

am i correct?? or there is another easier solution to change/replace/upgrade main aimesh router

Thanks in advanced
Khalid

You are correct!

GT-AX11000 is an older model router from 2018. It's basically the same hardware like your GT-AC5300, but with AX radios. The newer hardware version is GT-AX11000 Pro. It's a strange mix of dual and tri-band routers, by the way. You can't have dedicated AiMesh backhaul with this mix and match. A little more network planning won't hurt.
