[ 3006.102_4 alpha Build(s) ] available build(s)

Hello I have Asus Rog Rapture GT-AXE16000. I installed this new software but I am having 2 different problems. First, with the original firmware, I could connect remotely with the asus router app on the phone, I cannot connect with the merlin software. Another problem is that every time I restart the router, the RGB lighting is automatically activated. How can I solve these problems?
Connecting remotely with the Asus app is a security risk. Use a VPN to remotely access the router. Also, the Asus app is not guarenteed to work with Merlin firmware.

LAN > DHCP Server > Show Offline Devices

I am not seeing the 'X' to remove a client, tried 3 different browsers, not sure if specific to this firmware, anyone else see it? When I right click and inspect element I can see it's still there, just not showing:

HTML:
<strong title="Remove this client" style="float:right;margin-right:5px;cursor:pointer;" onclick="removeClient('HIDDEN, 'ClientList_Block_PC_clientlist_dropdown_expand', 'ClientList_Block_PC_clientlist_offline')"></strong>

So, it's still there and works, I had to add this into the Console and now the 'x' are showing:

Code:
const style = document.createElement('style');
style.textContent = `
  strong[title="Remove this client"]::before {
    content: '×';
    font-size: 16px;
    font-weight: bold;
    color: #333;
    display: inline-block;
    margin-left: 4px;
  }
`;
document.head.appendChild(style);

If your using YazDHCP it can hide the X.
Just use the ASUS phone app as a workaround to delete the offline devices, that's what I do.

I dont have the X either, and have no add-ons at the moment...

Good to know it's not caused by the add-on; in your case it's likely a bug. I'd assume the workaround still works the same though? Maybe someone with the bug can confirm.

Yes, when I run the code in console, X appears.

P.S.
Waterfox for me, also same on Edge (same code works).

Today's Alpha2

Changelog
3006.102.x (xx-xxx-xxxx)
- NOTE: If migrating from a 3004 firmware, only the first Guest

supported in the 3006 firmware series, as maintaining
two separate interfaces is too much work.

- NEW: Added RT-AX86U_PRO, RT-AX88U_PRO, ZenWifi Pro XT12,
GT-AX6000, GT-AXE16000 and GT-AX11000_PRO to the

- FIXED: CVE-2024-9143 in OpenSSL (Debian backport by RSDNTWK)
- FIXED: CVE-2024-13176 in OpenSSL (Ubuntu backport by RSDNTWK)

Still no internet on Guest WiFi... Next build then! ;)
Also, yet no X for removing old clients.

Other things, didn't notice yet.
As expected, no radical changes it is still an Alpha2.

Works for me, check your configuration.

As expected, no radical changes
This build updated to dnsmasq 2.91, which is a significant change (as previous dnsmasq updates frequently introduced new issues). 2.91 introduces multiple fixes to DNSSEC.

You are right, I have internet!

Didn't even test it, because my Android phone still says "no internet access" and "cant provide internet" although it clearly works...
This warning only on guest network with classical configuration same as before with no intranet (and now default AP isolated), nothing special.

P.S.
Sorry, I did change one thing - DNS Director/LAN /Guest Network Pro profiles/Redirection from "No Redirection" to "Router" same as I have it for "Global Redirection" for years where it newer caused a problem. So why does it bother my phone here...?
As soon as I put the default "No Redirection", phone complaint is gone.
Sure this setting didn't exist on 3004. So did it do some strange double DNS loop or something??

That temperature is actually normal for this CPU. You might have been confusing it with the radio temp which are generally in the 40's and 50's.

If you have a GN set with defaults settings, it will be on a different subnet, with a separate VLAN. In that case, redirecting to the main subnet IP will be problematic as you are trying to isolate that network from the main subnet.

In the 3006_102.4_alpha2-g774261a90a, the option to specify upload and download bandwidth is missing in the adaptive QoS settings on the GT-AXE16000. I don't know if this is missing in 3006 by default or just in this version.

Guest wifi still broken:
- unable to get internet access if DNS set to "default". Manually setting routers private IP, doesn't solve. Have to manually assign a DNS.
- when schedule is set (for example turn on on weekends), when on week days, all bands are off except 5ghz band on main router which is on but without internet access.

3006.102 of RT-BE88U is same, no upload and download bandwidth settings in Adaptive QoS. RMerlin said that Adaptive QoS of the ASUS BE routers is broken. Perhaps it is Adaptive QoS of the 3006.102 firmware is broken?

This build updated to dnsmasq 2.91, which is a significant change (as previous dnsmasq updates frequently introduced new issues). 2.91 introduces multiple fixes to DNSSEC.
Confirmed.

System Log clean, IoT (guest) network works as expected, Wireless Log displays MAC addresses and hostnames.
