    UPNP was off. Can't find beam forming, is it a 5ghz thing? Not using that frequency...

    Hi all, EMFBI but I'm wondering if anyone can help. Thanks to this firmware I'm getting random wifi drops I *NEVER* experienced before on my Thinkpad T420s with wifi-N and a Dell Vostro 1520 also with wifi-N. Security is WPA2-Personal w/AES, auto channel, 2.4ghz. Win 7 on all machines...

    AC66u and Android Problems

    Thanks for this. Have an HTC One (week old, love the phone) that is trouble-free except that when I leave it on overnight, it will drop the wifi connection until the phone wakes, then it jumps right back on.     Got the answer on DSLReports. It was the cable. When I use the Cat5e cable that came with the modem, it lights up blue. My Monoprice Cat6 cable - that worked fine for the SB6121 & this router - isn't apparently up to spec. Imagine that!

    All cables are Cat6. Previous modem (SB6121) correctly identified the RT-N66U's WAN port as Gigabit. I've been through the modem's web interface and haven't found any port speed setting options but I will look again. Thanks for replying!

    Tried but could not find where in the router setup to do this. Anyone? Throughput seems unaffected - silly anyway since I only have 50mb service, but my old SB6121 sitting right here is laughing at me because it happily glowed BLUE for the WAN port speed...

    RT-N66U not identifying as Gigabit on SB6141?

    Just installed a new SB6141. Connections, speeds are fine. Comcast Extreme 50mb service. SB6141's flashing an AMBER light at me indicating a 10/100 WAN connection to the RT-N66U, but that's clearly not the case. Any idea why the SB6141 is doing so? TIA! -kj-
