    Funny you should mentioned this above: I actually tested this out - turning off my remote access in the WeMo app - & it did disable my controlling of the switches. Can still see them but they were grayed out. Going to test your other scenarios when I get home.

    I understand that the CFE partitions were increased from 32 to 64 for 376.xx to 378.xx. Hadn't updated in awhile & usually use the Merlin fork's ASUS UI to update my firmware in the past. Can someone provide an easy upgrade path for me please. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thanks!

    Can't see 5 ghz band using scanner?

    PC not laptop , having said that, I can say that it has never seen the 5 band before. However, the scanners have seen the 5 band before.

    No to both. I definitely don't hide my SSID on any bands. Nor use any special characters. Odd. I've used these scanners in the past & had no trouble seeing both bands.
