    QNAP TS 212P

If you are downloading torrents then yes, it is a shared network/resource for the file you are getting. So you always have network in/outs that's why torrents are a faster way to download big files has nothing to do with QNAP hardware

    Connection dropping with Comcast

Like I said dig 12"/30CM down use 1" PVC SCH80 (the gray conduit/electrical) and put it down, glue the connectors real good, cover it up and then use a fiberglass "snake" to pull the new wire thru the pipe. Be sure to use good amount of clear silicone on the ends to keep water/bugs from getting...

    Ac68u Latest firmware. 3.0.0.4.376.1663

sounds like a hardware issue, after reading all the posts dirty power, doubtful that will cause a problem BUT if you can't get a good 118V/60Hz in to the adapter for power it 'may' cause some minor issues, but I really doubt that could be the firmware re-flashing over and over has corrupted the...

    NETGEAR R7500 Nighthawk X4 AC2350 Router

Looks like the 7500 will replace the 7000 the 8000 looks like a cockroach on it's back after you spray it with Raid personally, the 7500 looks better 2-USB 3.0 ports 1-eSATA port looks more like it will be cheaper than the 8000 (that includes a free can of Raid) just my OP on it.

you say trench, but you live in a multiple townhouse complex or you talking about the front yard? you want on Comcast readings between 36-39 like you have. I had to run a separate line from ONE splitter at the connection point from Crapcast to my Motorola SB6141 All those SYNC and MIMO events in the logs mean nothing. they have no bearing on signal attenuation

this is why when the time comes I will go to commercial routers and wireless AP's See, those, are not sold at Best Buy They don't fall under the same rules as a all-n-one router for the basic home user. Asus locking down routers to comply with new FCC rules

It is now LEGAL to unlock your 100% paid for cell phone So if that happened to that, then there would need to be 100,000 verifiable US signatures on whitehouse.gov before it would even get looked at. and that means some post on there explaining why the FCC should not lock down routers.
