1.1.1.1 getting blocked by avahi?

That special 1.1.1.1 interface only comes up temporarily during boot time.
Is there a way I can disable this? It doesn't go away and seems to route it still, can't use 1.1.1.1 for anything.

Here's dig and nslookup.

nahventure@ROUTER:/tmp/home/root# dig google.com @1.1.1.1

What do you get on your router from these commands?

Code:
ifconfig -a

netstat -rn

Well I can't see any trace of 1.1.1.1 or a subnet that would contain it.

What happens if you try a "ping 1.1.1.1" from the router?

EDIT: Are you using DNS Filter? What is the output of "iptables-save"?

No, it's not a feature, it's how the architecture was designed for that router model.

That interface should only be there during boot time, so it won't interfere with normal usage once it's fully initialized.

It works on my 87U:

Code:
grifo@r1:/tmp/home/root# nslookup google.com 1.1.1.1
Server: 1.1.1.1
Address 1: 1.1.1.1 one.one.one.one

Name: google.com
Address 1: 2a00:1450:4002:801::200e mil04s03-in-x0e.1e100.net
Address 2: 216.58.205.110 mil04s26-in-f14.1e100.net
grifo@r1:/tmp/home/root#

My logs also show avahi-daemon registering 1.1.1.1 on the LAN interface but then it gets withdrawn.
