It’s the same on my ac68u with wireless but it works fine with Lan.

Some recent development took a lot of time to complete, plus I'm giving both Asus and the dnsmasq author a larger potential merge window in case they came up with new firmware / a final dnsmasq release. That window will be closed once I move into beta, unless a final dnsmasq comes out with no major changes to it.

Someone can test this:

1. Flash the official Firmware for test AiMesh
   
2. Add your SSID and Password that you always use for both Bands (2.4GHz and 5GHz) and then add the Node.
3. Disconnect the Node (power off)
4. In the main router flash Asuswrt-Merlin and then do factory reset.
5. Configure your SSID you had before and the same password for both Bands (2.4GHz and 5GHz)
6. Now turn on the node
7. I do not know what will happen

I was having some slowness last night accessing Microsoft sites for updates and the Router Web UX from wireless 2.4 (1 android tablet) and 5 (2 win10 ultrabooks, 1 android tablet, 1 android phone). I did a power off reboot, still had some slowness, but is A-OK this AM.

did not make factory reset, using main as Aimesh-AP with Aimesh-node over ethernet (both on WAN-port connected to modemrouter).
If I try to connect to node-IP it for first time sayed "Aimesh router found", then jumping to main-IP.

Now connected over node and all seems to be ok, there is an Aimesh node in my system with Merlin as main-AP. But not showing this on main router.

Seems you can connect previoulsy configured nodes as Aimesh-node to Merlin-router.
Rebooted main and still connected.

Went back to stock and node showing still connected as Aimesh-node ...

I switched over form the official asus firmware on the ac86u to this alpha 2 just to get better SMB performance (full reset). but I notice that my google home speakers intermittently drops the connection(break the stream for a few seconds) while streaming music. I rolled back to latest official 32797 (full reset) and streams on the google home has been solid.
Anyone else notice this happening?

I'm encountering a problem trying to compile the current asuswrt-merlin.ng. What problems I've run into at least 5 times is the fuzz folder does not have a makefile.in file.

config.status: creating tests/Makefile
config.status: error: cannot find input file: `fuzz/Makefile.in'
Makefile:6238: recipe for target 'wget/Makefile' failed

Make sure you update your repo, some wget files were missing on github.

There are still more missing....I did an additional change for the person trying to compile my fork, but haven't pushed it yet.

That is weird, because I did a "git add -f" to add everything that's on my commit repo, and all my build repositories are rsync'ed copies from that one. Could be a case of someone missing dev packages in his environment.

After a couple of hour I can see in log DDNS checks every 30 seconds and spamming log.
Is it possible to mute this log writing? And only display "Update forced for alias"
