No. Being EOL means they would no longer release any firmware at all, which is not the case. They simply aren't adding new features. They are still releasing new firmwares with bug and security fixes.
i've not seen any new ecept yours no new asus fw for 3200

Asus told me recently they were working on a new RT-AC3200 firmware that would contain security fixes. They had no ETA beside "soon".

@RMerlin , I compiled 8fe2b7c and it runs good. Have not seen any serious errors on the RT-AC86U. Thanks for your great work!

Problem with my new RT-AX88U.

I can't find NAT acceleration setting in menu.

In menu LAN-> Switch control only have three option: Jumbo frame, Spanning-Tree Protocol and Bonding/Link aggregation. Without NAT acceleration my complete telephone system does not work anymore.

I need urgent help please!
:(

Edit: Here is my solution:
WAN - Internet Connection --> Basic Config --> NAT Type: Symmetric or Fullcone
Set: Fullcone

:)

From my understanding, FullCone is used for online gaming.

Check this link... http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r19418084-Gaming-Mode-Why-does-Dlink-recommend-disabling

Does this help?

You can thank @FreshJR for actually deciphering the data that allows me to display these.

Very create use of the Tend Micro databases, I implemented something similar in sh for Skynet and credited you both accordingly (bitwise stuff really sucks with stock binaries )

thanks wish Asus were as upfront about FW RELEAses and routers life as you are very frustrating not getting a straight answer

Been running 384.9_alpha1-g951fac98d on my RT-AC3200 for a little over four hours without any problems.

I'm running a RT-AX88U on 384.9_alpha1-g96b57d331.

I'm noticing that wifi clients are only connecting on the 2.4Ghz band at 20Mhz when very close to the router. I'm only getting about 75 megabits from my iphone too.

Also, gigabit speeds over the WAN are about 100 megabits slower with adaptive QoS on.

What download and upload speeds does your ISP provide you natively, as compared to using the RT-AX88U with Adaptive QOS On?

My connection is 860 down and 900 up. With QoS on, I get about 650Mbps, and off I get about 750-790Mbps.

Good to know, as I had to turn my Adaptive QOS OFF with FreshJr script on my AC3100, as I upgraded to 600 down, and 20 up, and with it ON I could only get 250Mbps down max, but with it off, I had CTF enabled and was able to get over 650Mbps.

With a gaming, streaming, downloading family, I would prefer to have Adaptive QOS on with FreshJr script, and have control of the packets and priority, but still have the download speed. Might be time to upgrade to the RT-AX88U. ;)

I have the Asus RT-AX88U and performance with Adaptive QoS doesn't seem all that great. I have a 500/500 mbit GPON connection and when enabling Adaptive QoS with fq_codel with the Ethernet VLAN setting and it drops to 200-250 mbit. Nothing I can do to get it any higher. FreshJR script and whatnot it still the same.

I love the new alpha 2 with the QOS Stats page table...gorgeous man!! Good work @RMerlin and @FreshJR !!

Is there any reason the new "tracked connections" page requires QOS to be enabled @RMerlin ? All this information should be available so long as AiProtect is enabled as the DPI engine is active. I assume this is the stock behavior for whatever used to be on that page but it seems unnecessary.

Because I haven't checked yet what data is available when QoS isn't enabled, and a large portion of what I needed to render the data, I had already written on that specific page.

Running alpha 2 on my RT-AC86U, just to make sure you are aware the dcd crashes are back. The HD disk spin down exceptions are working.

I'm not sure but I think the dcd crashes are an Asus thing. Also there is no reference to dcd crashes in the change log.

As @skeal said, dcd is a TrendMicro/ASUS thing in one of the binary blobs. There is nothing RMerlin can do about them.
