Amen! You bought a Mercedes and degraded it to a VW, only to pimp it up to be an Audi with a Mercedes badge?
Good luck.

No, unless you want pixelserv-tls too.Do i have to install entware prior to ab installation?
Entware with or without pixelserv-tls can previously be installed. No, unless you want pixelserv-tls too.
Blocking of https: ads.Can anyone give me an explanation on what entware and pixelserv do differently than the adblocking that's already used in version 2.0? What's the advantage?
Without pixelserv, the page will ordinarily show a small broken box for a "not found" where the ad would be. With pixelserv, a single pixel is returned, so those broken boxes disappear. It presents a cleaner page. Pixelserv-tls adds the ability to intercept an ad served up as an https call--it generates a certificate, unless one already exists. It also has a page of statistics. Can anyone give me an explanation on what entware and pixelserv do differently than the adblocking that's already used in version 2.0? What's the advantage?
AB-Solution will be 21 soon, it's allowed to make it's own decisions.
Daddy's by it's side too. And jealous. As with most 21 year olds (hehe), the decisions made may not necessarily be the best ones
Good thing it has us to watch over AB as it grows up.

Is she now?She's a girl!
BTW, I'm having a hard time implementing the "For your eyes only" email function. It may not be ready when v2.1 comes out. She's a girl!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but even without pixelserv-tls https ads would still be blocked, just no single pixel returned, right?Without pixelserv, the page will ordinarily show a small broken box for a "not found" where the ad would be. Wrong, https ads don't get blocked by a standalone AB-Solution installation.Correct me if I'm wrong, but even without pixelserv-tls https ads would still be blocked, just no single pixel returned, right?
The ease in which I was able able to install entware and pixelserv was truly worth waiting for! The checking in the background appears to make certain that all cases are considered before proceeding.
In a parallel parallel universe a not so eloquent member offered........ "It's the dog's back wheels!"...and in a parallel universe not far from here, a member of this fine board offered these words:
Testing for v2.1 is truly well under way.
Meals on wheels it is then. It's the dog's back wheels
