Hi all,

I'm hoping someone can help me with a problem. Today I upgraded my AC-68P from stock to Merlin 378.51 mainly so I could use the new Adaptive QoS feature. I work from home so I wanted to be able to set my IP phone and work laptop to highest priority. Firmware update went fine then I reset to factory defaults. All was well until I started re-adding port forwards to a local server I run. Previously they had been working fine.

What I found was, as soon as I enable QoS, port forwarding immediately breaks. Under the Bandwidth Monitor tab I can enable Apps Analysis with no problem but as soon as I enable QoS on the QoS tab it breaks. My question is, for Adaptive QoS to work does both Apps Analysis *and* QoS have to be enabled or only Apps Analysis? If both, any suggestions on how to workaround this issue?

Thanks in advance

I think Adaptive QoS should work by itself. You don't need Apps Analysis enable for it to work.

Thanks for the response. Turns out this must be a bug in Merlin's firmware. I installed Asus 378.4585 and port forwarding works fine with Adaptive QoS enabled.
