already own the ac88u any major advantage to the rt-ac5300?

my 88u has been pretty solid but i was given a 5300 (non gt model) and honestly i dont need both so im going to keep only one. which would you keep and why? are they both solid choices of merlin firmware and any major issues with the 5300 that the 88u doesnt normally suffer from? have not used the 5300 at all yet its still sealed in the box.

Look at the reviews on here for both routers. Then make up your mind what to keep.

If nothing else, the ac5300 is still boxed up and sealed, so you could sell it as a new router with a better price.

From what I remember, reviews on the ac88u were far more positive than on the ac5300 and suggest there is little or no advantage having the ac5300.

Hopefully someone more knowledgeable than me will be able to help.
