Router - ASUS GT-AC5300
ISP - Frontier
ISP Gateway - Arris NVG448BQ (Transparent Bridging)
Service Type - VDSL2 PPPoE PAP

I just had my service upgraded from ADSL2+ to VDSL2. When using the Frontier provided gateway as a router, everything works fine. However, when I put it in bridge mode and attempt to use the ASUS as a router, it will not connect to the WAN. This was working perfectly before I was upgraded to VDSL. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

I have it set to 1492. That's what it was on for ADSL2+. That's also the value the ISP modem gets when it's set to Auto.

The workaround for now is using DMZ/IP-Passthrough to my router.
