the topic concerns the GT-AXE11000 model, not GT-AXE16000

Is that how it works? That's quite surprising given the reputation and price premium of Asus routers. Like, you'd think they would invest more in maintaining such successful product lines.
My post was an exaggerated joke. After feeling burned out by their costly Top-Tier routers being neglected in less than 6 months, I seriously lost all interest in them.

My biggest issue is how spectacularly their Dual-WAN fails at everything. The Fallback and Failover mechanism just doesn't work even after being present on their routers for years...

On my Ubiquiti UXG-Max, the fallback and failover happens in less than 5 seconds. I purchased their (Asus') dumb and dirt cheap EBG15 model for WOL. Maybe I am jaded waiting for Asus' Dual-WAN to work !!

im quite disapointed in asus lack of support for $500+ dollar routers.
We have been going almost 1 year without updates.

AX11000, AXE11000

Does anyone have an update on whats coming and when?

@RMerlin do you know if you're able to fill us in from anyhting from the grape vine?

We haven’t had any firmware updates for the new lineups (BE96, 98) in almost half a year. I’m pretty sure the AX11000 and AXE11000 have been discontinued and will not receive anything beyond some security updates.

Merlin had updates for the AXE1100 388.2 , don't hold your breath for 3.0.0.06 from Asus

I get the feeling upgrading to 5.0 was a plan that they then changed their mind. New firmware is available, 3.0.0.4 though....
