agree ... sometimes even can't block browsing so have to put "block" for certain device.
streaming is totally unable to block.
Hello,
Still on 384.18 here, on AC86U. I use AIProtection with Time Scheduling. Watching Netflix on the native app of an Android TV, the stream would get interrupted at the defined hour (or a couple of minutes later, no big deal). So, works fine here for me.

I've updated from beta 3 to beta 4 on my AX88U, I've two guest network setup, one for each band on "Guest 2" I also have a custom firewall script working and tested with only one iptables command, it has the right syntax.

At some hours the scripts run multiple times and also getting some kernel errors.

But other than that it all works and I've no problems. Just wanted to report.

If you want my logs RMerlin I'll happily provide.

Thanks for this wonderful firmware.

Further fun with DDNS on my AX88U. I abandon Asus DDNS and tried Afraid Free, everything works including LE. Asus DDNS sucks.

Anyone with a AC5300, check 5Ghz-2, second radio. Can't seem to get more than 20 MHz of channel bandwidth on Beta4 AC5300 with B4b on the AX88U, Ethernet backhaul

5Ghz-1 on both AC5300 and the AX88 all at 80Mhz of channel bandwidth, 5Ghz-2 on both AC5300 at 20Mhz of channel bandwidth, turned them off, waited and turned them back on, no change

So using a different DDNS service provider solved your DDNS issues?

Good to know it wasn't firmware related then
Thanks for the update :) I never thought to use the Afraid.org FreeDDNS

Logged in with Firefox and updated normally.

Thanks!

Would be interesting to know whether that solves the problem, and you could now go back to B3 if you wanted to.

But as I said, I am only interested in going forward.

Will confirm whether it worked for me.

My router and node AC5300's both show bw80 for 5Ghz-2.

I feel almost left out...
Was OOT for the weekend. Caught up on this thread this morning.

Upgraded 2 AX58U's AIMesh nodes that were on beta 3 to beta 4. No issues.
Upgraded main router, AX88U from beta 3 to beta 4b. No issues.
AX88U running Unbound, scmerlin, ntpmerlin, connmon and syslog-ng. No issues
Upgraded an old AC68U from beta 2 to beta 4 running in Media mode. No issues.
Using Asus DDNS service (for years...) No issues.
Temps on the AX88U CPU always around 68C.
No Guest networks (I trust any "guest" in my house).

Typical have around 44 clients (various streamers, a few smart TV's, some light a wall switches, 3 laptops/PC's and some RPI's (2 on ethernet, 3 on wifi), and a few iPhones and tablets.
No issues,

I'm not a good beta tester...

Has anyone had any problems flashing AX88U from beta4 to beta4b? Tried number of times, redownloaded the firmware, rebooted the router - no luck

Beta 4 is the problematic firmware, so yes many people have had this issue. (I being one of them)
They either recommended opting out of TM Engine or removing USB storage, using rescue tool to get to Beta 4B (which will work correctly moving forwards as it's been fixed.) :)

I did it and had no issues at all. Might want to try unplugging all of the usb devices.
always disconnect usb... still no luck. Will try to power it down for a while...

Use rescue tool on the Asus download page and it will work first try if you still have issues :)

Upgraded two of my RT-AC86U AP's from Beta4 to Beta4b.
So far, no issues. But it's only been 15 mins. Will give them the usual reboots and settle in time.

EDIT: Updated my RT-AX88U AP as well. Will leave it at that. I did get the Firmware error on the first attempt, 2nd attempt was fine.
