Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.14 is now available for AC models

thats the issue: I can't get anything to connect to the router via ethernet, but the router's radios are seemingly fine. CPU temp climbs towards 100C in short order, so the router itself throttles quickly...it's trying to sync to NTP over WAN, but won't connect (or allow IPv6) until there's a sync.
There's a connection logic issue that was fine up until this update.
trying to ssh into the router from my phone over wifi brings connection issues, so I can't run top, nor can I follow @Martinski 's force update bash instruction to update to the dev branch and get NTP to sync (or disable/uninstall ntpMerlin)

Seriously, I believe it to be more time-efficient to factory reset than arm wrestle ant solution here...and it may be less frustrating moving forward to upgrade hardware to a more current model, like AX88pro. (do you/anyone following happen to know if Canada Computers' price match policy applies to the asus store on Amazon.ca?)

I'm experiencing the unscrollable/locked page/scroll-bar disappearance bug after page load on RT-AC68U. The issue presented itself right after installing merlin 386.14 for YazFi 4.4.4

The issue presents itself on both Firefox and Brave browsers.

I'm experiencing the unscrollable/locked page/scroll-bar disappearance bug after page load on RT-AC68U. The issue presented itself right after installing merlin 386.14 for YazFi 4.4.4

Known issue with YazFI already reported yesterday in the YazFi addon subforum discussion.
The workaround is to use the YazFi CLI instead and hopefully the YazFi script will be fixed in the meantime.

Is anyone having issues with the Traffic Analyzer - Statistic page? I only see the last (current) one hour worth of data. Data in the past is erased after every hour update.

- Firewall -> Skynet tab -> I confirm the issue with the scroll bar.
- WAN -> DDNS tab-> The Export button for the Let's Encrypt certificates has disappeared (see before & after screenshots in attachment).

Does it work after that? Asus rewrote the SSL certificate handling, their new implementation is now stricter as to which certificates it will accept. Some certificates previously generated will fail their validation, triggering the generation of a new certificate.

Asus probably removed it for LE since technically that certificate cannot be reused elsewhere - the private key is necessary, and the validation process needs to be done on the router every two months.

Try removing the stored certificate, then reboot.

rm /jffs/cert.tgz

Also, make sure the /jffs partition isn't full:

df -h /jffs

No problem here, i couldn't figure out why you've such issue.

Last week, The Source was listing CAD $156 for RT-AX86U Pro and few people were able to price match it with Staples Canada. As far as I know this is the current all time low pricing.

I think back in April 2024 Staples had a promo going on for -$25 coupon when you spend more than $250 on tech. They also had the RT-AX88U Pro on sale at CAD $249.99. You just needed to add a filler item to be eligible for the -$25 coupon which should result in all time low pricing.

Noted on RT-AC68U: The startup sysdate (before time is updated from the internet) has changed from 5/4/18 to 12/31/23 (technically 1/1/24 00:00 GMT). If you have any scripts that loop pending the setting of the date and time, check your logic.
