Frankly I'm curious as to why asus doesn't just hire you on full time to do this project or even expand the project. It would cost them pennies in comparison and would probably make them millions.
Hiring a foreign employee is a nightmare tax-wise (and I ain't moving to Taiwan). Plus, I already have a daytime job, so I wouldn't be available for hiring.

Any ETA to maybe support XT8 in the future ?

It is supported now:

RT-AX95Q files (known as ZenWiFi AX or XT8):

Oh nice :) thanks for update ;)

I'd have to learn a whole new platform and its SDK. Rewrite my entire code that generates the Wireless Log page, or almost everything that generates the Sysinfo page (among other things). Modify every section of code that I have ever written that was platform-specific, to adapt it (if possible) for the Qualcomm platform.

It would be an entire whole project on its own to maintain Qualcomm-based devices in addition to Broadcom devices. Not happening with a one-man project.

I know this question is off topic but is there an operational advantage of Broadcom vs Qualcomm? Has one shown to be better?

I don't know.

I reckon for the right money *anyone* with a day time job will suddenly become available for hire!
Not when that day time job involves service contracts multiple customers have signed with you.

dalao, help me to find out what caused the router to restart. It has been running for three more days, and now it restarts automatically. Did the VPN cause the restart? I did not use vpn when restarting, help me analyze it, thank you!

Impossible to tell, the log contains no information, which seem to indicate it wasn't a software crash (there's no crashlog entries) but an actual hardware crash/reboot. Check the power for any power fluctuation.

386.6 Beta 2 is now available:

Code:
d6866e6dc6 build: include *.pkgtb when generating sha256sums in build-all script
55d4a59cba webui: remove duplicate setting on Samba config page; remove legacy length check
2cb3accb13 rc: shared: webui: fix JFFS custom scripts/config support on UBI models; hide jffs fomating on these as it's currently not working
329cbad359 webui: remove duplicate setting on DDNS page (got added by upstream GPL merge)
2df45c7992 Bumped revision to beta 2

Any chance that the WAN-LAN throughput be optimised for the AX11000 386.7?
There is nothing for me to optimize there. NAT performance is limited by the CPU.

@RMerlin In the future, do you plan to add ROG feature for the GT-AX6000 ? and how long do you expect the GT-AX6000 to last ?
That is one of the known compromises to using RMerlin firmware on these models~ You have to lose ROG. It is not compatible or comparable with his defaults since ROG is majority closed source by Asus and cannot be incorporated with his added features. If you want ROG, I suggest running stock.
