Could be model/driver/SDK specific. Could be that both users reporting issues with values higher than -70 didn't properly test it. In any case, I don't feel like randomly re-enabling this only to get mixed feedback about it.

I was about to ask if you could enable it? ......please. I will test it out and let you know if it does work. I really need this option and i'm sure alot of other will enjoy this feature aswell.

It's just a gui validation restriction. Enable it in the gui to an allowed value, then exit the gui and ssh/telnet to the router and enter (for 5GHz)

Code:
nvram set wl1_user_rssi=-60
nvram commit
service restart_wireless

change wl1 to wl0 if you are interested in 2.4GHz

This...
And as written, in repeater mode (rt-ac88u) these entries do not exist.

My AC88U in router mode experienced the same, filling the log with these entries both on beta 1 and 2, and since I didn't know what it was I reverted back to 380.68_4.

any ideas on my openvpn settings? i came from using the n66 u and now running the ac86u with beta2. i inputted the same settings as working in the n66 u but i keep getting :

and error : x509 the crt/crl/csr format is invaild e.g different type expected.

im using ios openvpn client to connect.

I'll give Asus a few more days to come up with a GPL drop containing Krack fixes to STA mode (they haven't released the GPL to 382_18xxx for the AC86U yet, and no update at all for the AC88U). If they don't release something soon, then I'll go ahead with a final beta 3 release, and look into wrapping up a final 382.1 release in the coming 1-2 weeks.

Could be a mirroring issue at Mediafire, try refreshing.

You can also always fall back to the Sourceforge mirror if needed.

Astrill generally are looking for any excuse to postpone development and support, and you've just given them another excuse.
If they just told me "we are waiting for the final build", next time they will say "we are waiting for the next final build as RMerlin said he may be able to fix the nvram issue".
Great.

To be fair, they have been busy at Astrill. Have you seen the new website? Also the pricing plans are totally reworked. New Android app.

I see this as a good thing because I felt they were just keeping the lights on and not doing any further development - wrong!

I'm not upgrading my AC88 until the Router Applet works under 382. I have plenty of other Asus routers to play around with until then.

It's becoming quite off topic, but anyway, if you mentioned it again, their web development, pricing structure and Android app dev has nothing to do with their (always terrible IMHO) customer service/support or their applet bugs/development (they said themselves they have different team for the routers developments).
I swear that if they didn't have some of the best VPN servers for my specific ISP/connection, I would have switched to another provider long ago.
Again, sorry for the totally off-topic post.

Could you check wget folder?
It seems that some files are missing after updating to 1.19.2.
specifically lib folder.

The files got filtered out by gitignore on commit.

@RMerlin has the location of crontabs changed in 382.x?
Should be /tmp/var/spool/cron/crontabs/$(nvram get http_username)

Edit:
This appears to be /var/spool/cron/crontabs/$(nvram get http_username) which also works in 380.x and therefore answers and solves it for me, I hope.
