I can access the web interface for the BGW320-505 with 192.168.1.254 (255.255.255.0) or 192.168.254.254. I'm guessing the ..254.254 address is used for a fallback in case of user misconfiguration.
If I set the Firewall > Passthrough mode to DHCPS-Fixed (MAC of router) then the logs fill up with "Invalid IP Packet" records with the 254.254 address, like:
2024-10-29T18:26:49.695128 192.168.254.254 23.207.49.110 TCP Invalid IP Packet
Any idea what that could be about?
If I set the passthrough mode to DHCPS-Dynamic, the 254.254 entries go away, but I still get some <my WAN IP> to <some internet IP> "Invalid IP Packet" records. I don't know what would be causing an invalid outgoing packet.
