Can a Dual Band Wireless N adapter accept two seperate connections at once?

I am looking into going Wireless N. I have been researching and reading non-stop about everything. I am confused on a couple things. First of all, I keep getting mixed reviews on real world performance.

Is Wireless N on an average basis slower than 10/100 LAN ethernet connection? Or is it easy to get over 100Mbps?

My other question is in regards to Dual Band Adapters and Dual Band Simultaneous Routers. Can a dual band adapter connect to two different wireless N connections at the same time? One being 2.4ghz and the other 5ghz?

What brought this up is this review on the Microsoft Xbox 360 N adapter.

If you read towards the bottom it says they connected to two networks.

See Draft 11n Does Not Equal 100 Mbps Ethernet. The info there holds for the released N as well. Also look at the Wireless Charts, Maximum throughput benchmarks.

No. A dual-band adapter has a single radio.

The review didn't say they connected to the two networks at the same time.

Sidenote. That test on 11n vs 100 Ethernet was done in 2007.
Is 11n really still that slow? Or have some of the new routers and adapters made progress?

Check the charts for current products. Not much has changed.
