I had the same issue, although in a different setup.
Aquantia 10GbE network card, and cannot access my Asus RT-86U with Merlin Firmware.
The router needed the Merlin Firmware, because the VPN configuration requires in the router the Merlin Firmware.
The router was accessible correctly with the built in Wifi card and Ethernet card of the laptop (Dell Precision 7530), but not through the dock's 10GbE card.
Just plugging in the cable to the Akitio dock resulted in no access to the router.
I have already spent more 3 full days to troubleshoot, with various settings in the router, windows, and so on, when I found by accident this forum page with a Google search.
"Receive Segment Coalescing" = Disabled both for IPv4 and IPv6 solved the issue.
I had already started to check the settings of the network card, but I only got half way through.
The settings can be found at:
Win + X \ Device Manager \ Network adapters \ [Network card] \ Advanced \ Property: Recv Segment Coalescing (IPv4) - Disabled, and Recv Segment Coalescing (IPv6)
The dock is an
Akitio Thunder 3 Dock Pro and has a built in 10GbE Ethernet adapter, Aquantia based.
This is one of the main features of this dock, at the time of writing I don't know of any Thunderbolt docks offering a built in 10GbE adapter.

They also have a Thunderbolt 3 based and a PCIe 10GbE network card, which use the same Aquantia drivers.

It sounds a niche thing, but it isn't.
Most studios doing video and photo editing have their local network upgraded to 10GbE, because of the gigantic movie files.
I have the same, I need the 10GbE card to connect to my local NAS, which has a 10GbE port to access the video footage.
See this video from Linus:
First, it was a surprise that the network card of the dock doesn't work plug and play, and needs the drivers installed - it took me already half a day to find out. I would have never guessed that in 2020, a network card still needs drivers to be downloaded.
So it needs the drivers installed for the 10GbE card, and on their download page, they offer the version 2.1.17
Aquantia Microsoft Windows driver v2.1.17 5998 kB Jul 10, 2019

So thanks for listing the solution.
The dock has other issues as well, because of the Thunderbolt 3 connection (mouse and keyboard erratic, audio is distorted, wake from standby is slow, and so on), but at least the network works.
