Do you know the Telnet commands to bring up the firmware versions?

Driver version is only of limited relevance, as Asus has been doing other tweaks to the Quantenna firmware itself, without changing its wireless driver.

Pardon my ignorance, is it legal to perform modification to the driver without quantenna's approval? Just a curious question in mind..Driver version is only of limited relevance, as Asus has been doing other tweaks to the Quantenna firmware itself, without changing its wireless driver.

I edited as requested. thank you!Maybe @dfran1 should update the first post to reference the third post instead? It would save a lot of confusion I suspect.
Yes, there is a delay with any asuswrt till now and forget about asus stock firmware and try asuswrt-merlin which got tweaks and fixes. Anyway, I build this firmware for you to try ... I think it should not has this delay and slower time response.
It is asuswert-merlin 378.52_alpha 4 updated till latest revision and note that there is few mods.
Try it and lets us know.

see RMerlin's post #214Can you share the commit hash from which this firmware was built? It's useful to determine what is included and what hasn't been.

This firmware is compiled from the updates that Merlin posts on Github. Merlin has posted that he neither supports or prohibits anyone from doing what saifooz is doing. However, Merlin warned that many of these builds contain undocumented changes/fixes/upgrades and the use of such should be considered to be at your own risk. Merlin has also suggested certain safety precautions for saifooz to follow but I do not see that user taking Merlin's suggestions, at least not yet.Has anyone tried this firmware? Does Merlin endorse these builds?

Have you tried this one?
1. Disable beam forming on both bandsI'm so frustrated with this thing. I am on the ASUS firmware 3.0.0.4.378_4608. I can connect to both bands, but my 5G band stops working. My devices still show connected with Internet access, but you can't browse. Disconnecting and reconnecting temporarily fixes it. Which firmware is supposed to resolve that issue? Not sure I have any other complaints about this firmware, but I just connect to my slower 2.4 band so I won't get frustrated. The whole point of buying this router was for the speeds! I tried a DD-WRT version a couple of weeks ago but had issues with it as well.
I am sorry, my fault, that is not the oneStill having the 5G issue.
You using it? hows wifi?DDWRT
