I tested this and I get NX-Domain.
Try nslookup from a terminal, preferably not on the router, though it too will tell you the correct pixelserv-tls assigned IP address.
Code:
nslookup diversion-adblocking-ip.address

See the red text?
You're welcome. Use the built in pixelserv-tls upgrader as per https://www.snbforums.com/threads/diversion-the-router-ad-blocker.48538/page-186#post-516424
Thank you very much for all your help.

I regenerated the certificate and replaced it on all my devices (now that's a workout lol). I even restarted the router.

Everything seems fine but when I try to access: https://diversion-adblocking-ip.address all I get is a blank page. Is that normal?

UPDATE: never mind. I just realized I needed to check the certificate lol. Everything is environmentally green again

Environmentally green is the hype word this year. Glad you joined the cult ;)

I've seen it reported somewhere on this board but can't find the thread.

Has anyone seen strange results in the stats report, be it uiDivStats or the Diversion generated weekly stats?
Listed domain names for clients like "file" instead of the domain name?
This would indicate that the dnsmasq.log contains binary code for some reason and the grep function will fail.
Let me know if you do. To test if the above is the case, run a query with a non-existent string on the log files:
Code:
grep 'Ditbabot-nd.R?' /opt/var/log/dnsmasq.log*
No output for the above means all's well. But if one gets something like "Binary file" then your are affected.

Uh, and what's the acronym 'Ditbabot-nd.R?' stand for?
Correct answer wins a lifetime license for a popular ad-blocker and useful helper script :p

Great glasses as Julie Balchin says there: Great style, do a great job of staying put and very reasonably priced.
Reasonably priced naked runner you say? You got your free licenses.

Thank You! Can you PM me on how to redeem?

No problems here:
RT-AX88U:/tmp/home/root# grep 'Ditbabot-nd.R?' /opt/var/log/dnsmasq.log*

I've discovered a while ago that /opt/bin/grep from entware gives the Binary file response, but /bin/grep from BusyBox does not, it will actually search the file. But it depends what extra features you originally needed from the Entware grep.

I have most definitely seen “file” in my stats reports for some time. Will run the code you mentioned once I’m home in about 30mins. Been wondering what “file” is...

EDIT: Seems fine? I get

tmp/home/root#

Hello. I was using Astrill VPN applet, I changed to an OpenVPN service and I cannot get Diversion working. Are there instructions posted somewhere?

thanks

diversion fails to fetch lists in 4.1.4, happens every time on these same lists

Code:
no local file: getting new hosts file

 https://gitlab.com/quidsup/notrack-blocklists/raw/master/notrack-blocklist.txt

##################################################################################################################################################### 100.0%

 https://gitlab.com/quidsup/notrack-blocklists/raw/master/notrack-blocklist.txt

not hosts file, no backup found

 processing file 4 of 28

all the rest work, for example

Code:
  processing file 23 of 28
remote file same: using local hosts file
 https://raw.githubusercontent.com/r-a-y/mobile-hosts/master/AdguardMobileAds.txt
 processing file 23 done

 processing file 24 of 28
remote file same: using local hosts file

 processing file 24 done
