I've had my RT-AX86U for about 18 months and has been working just fine, but over the past month I've experienced a number of dropouts.
I've contacted my ISP who were less than helpful, so I've started my own investigation and wondering if anybody had the same experience.
I've got a RT-AX86U using Merlin firmware 3004.388.8_2
running a ping to google.com, I would see frequent timeouts, then looked at the WAN interface which showed the following issues
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 3C:7C:3F:6B:F10
inet addr:x.x.x Bcast:x.x.x.x Mask:255.255.192.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING ALLMULTI MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1
RX packets:2125002 errors:0 dropped:0 overruns:0 frame:0
TX packets:129675131 errors:0 dropped:255677 overruns:0 carrier:0
collisions:0 txqueuelen:1000
RX bytes:1773519654 (1.6 GiB) TX bytes:141698759874 (131.9 GiB)
Looking at the logs, I did notice a few issues, but not sure how to address it. First, I've shutdown my OpenVPN server to see if that helps. I'm also using my older ASUS RT-AX68U as a Mesh but it seems to be working ok.

Is there anything I can try or a setting I've missed?
