Entware Entware updates have appeared !!!

@thelonelycoder , how long does this update normally take to hit your server? Does it require manual intervention on your part or does it do it automatically?
My current web hosting has no cron jobs available. I get notified of updates by a script I run on the main router. Then I kick off the job manually on the server.
Does this sound like stone age technology? Sure does. But I don't mind.

Had to do the usual reinstall of Unbound to get things working again after the Entware updates.
I just do an "update" (Option #1) of Unbound after the Entware updates, then Unbound all operational again.

That doesn't seem to work for me. I tried twice. The only thing that worked was reinstalling. Glad that it's easy to use the previous config file and the reinstall doesn't return everything to default, unless you pick that option.

Was worth a shot, to prevent uninstall & re-install. I also use the Unbound "Stop" (Option #3), install the EP updates, then start Unbound again. If I forgot to "Stop" first, then used the Update option.

Entware update screwed up Diversion's WebUI. Here is what it looks like after the update:

I tried a forced update and reinstallation, both to no avail. uiDivStats and Skynet's WebUI work normal. Maybe something router specific? Any other suggestions I can try?

CTRL-F5, clear cache & refresh?

Now that you say it, I remember the stop, install updates, then start method and had used it before. When I say I re-installed, I did not have to uninstall first, and that worked ok too. I'll have to remember to stop it first next time.

Updated and everything working fine.

It may be specific to your router/setup. I just updated (on my RT-AX86U Pro) and the Diversion web UI is fine.

Well, the entware update screwed up my RT-AX58Uv2 3004.388.8_2-gnuton1.😩
Loss of connection, DHCP stopped working, probably because I was using adguard home.
So I reinstalled a backup but now I am suffering from this bug usb-application-accounts-messed-up.😫

The update installed an old version of Tailscale which refused to start properly.
I used TAILMON to update it to the latest version and all was well.

I am in a similar boat. I had installed Entwares tailscale before @Viktor Jaep released TAILMON.
I use TAILMON to keep tailscale updated. Before I do the Entware updates, I need to remove all knowledge of tailscale in Entware.
Tailscale/TAILMON is pretty important to me. I use it to monitor and support a remote location of mine. It’s approx. 2300 miles away..

After the entware update, which took it to 1.78 (entware TS 1.78-3), mine updated to Tailscale 1.78.1 flawlessly.
I did two Routers remotely miles away (I did it from a hotel room).

Thanks for the info.
I ended up editing the file:

/opt/lib/opkg/status

And removed the 6 lines that relate to tailscale. I prefer to use TAILMON to take care of the updates.

Apologies probably wasn’t clear above, but I (also) used Tailmon itself to update Tailscale, from 1.78 to 1.78.1. Actually the entware update effectively reverted my TS version from 1.78.1 to 1.78, after which I updated it again.

Maybe TAILMON could remove those lines for you, or warn you about them.
What do you think @Viktor Jaep ?

The thing is, when you upgrade entware, it will overwrite whatever you already have installed. TAILMON will just keep continuing to use whatever is present. I'm not in favor of borking up anything that entware/opkg may be relying on... I could see perhaps an email warning that version numbers just changed or something? That might be helpful?
