Execute script or command when clients change

Hi,

I really appreciate the work Merlin did with the Asuswrt-Merlin!!
And I have it mostly running with the features I want.
But is it possible to execute a command or a script when the clients change?
E.g. when somebody connects via Wifi (or VPN)?
I tried the dhcpc-event that only gives me changes on the WAN. (I also tried the openvpn-event, that only is executed when the VPN is up or down.)
