It just increments by 1/4 db if I remember right. So..When setting the tx power through SSH or telnet what is the value that equals 23.50 dBm? For example 106 = 25 dBm and 114 = 27 dBm, so what is it for 23.50 dBm?
Make sure you haven't enabled an option that will automatically disable hardware acceleration....any of the QoS options, IP Traffic or attaching a USB modem will turn it off.Hardware acceleration is enabled in the router's settings, I've checked. Also I can not recall having this issue with previous versions, although I have not tried to go back yet.
Sorry, I must be a little slow tonight....can you provide a little more detail?@john9527 Hi John.. can there be any configuration issue with openvpn that browsing is not possible over 4G/LTE while it works perfectly well when i fall back to 3G on my iphone??

Connect to OpenVPN server via the iphone internet, or using wireless to be an OpenVPN client, or using the iphone as a modem?
Connecting to the openvpn server on my n66u from an iphone over 3G/4G LTE using the openvpn app.
I found a couple of threads with probably the same issue like this one below but with deads ends-
https://forums.openvpn.net/viewtopic.php?t=19817
Edit: whats weird is the openvpn connection establishes very quickly and imessages/whatsapp works just fine even on 4g but if i try to go to a website then pages cant be displayed. Web browsing is fine if i switch to 3g.
mtu-disc maybe
push "mtu-disc maybe"
Nope no difference. Guess will just have to use 3g if i do use vpn.Sounds like you found it and it is indeed something on the iphone end with 4G. My contribution...try adding these statements to the custom config on the router and see if it makes a difference.
Code:mtu-disc maybe push "mtu-disc maybe"

The only thing obvious that I can see are the following variables which are updated every time someone logs in or out of the GUI.@john9527I am noticing that the nvram usage is fluctuating by a few bytes without me changing anything in the settings.. is this normal? I haven't set any storage location to it.
login_port
login_timestamp
login_ip
Short answer - No. (this has been discussed many times before)Won't this wear it down rather quick depending on its quality?
There are many things that are constantly being updated in 'nvram'....but it's not really 'nvram'. All of the read/write activity occurs in a copy of the nvram that is kept in RAM, but it's only committed to the flash at certain times/events.EDIT: Editing this instead of adding another post, I am noticing that the nvram usage is fluctuating by a few bytes without me changing anything in the settings.. is this normal? I regularly logon between 4 different PCs when I'm doing development, and haven't see a problem. Both the auto logout and 'disconnect' logout are working as I would expect.I think I found a bug. I was trying to login in the router from a different pc than I usually do and I got "You can't login login unless you logout first" message, but was logged in one another laptop like a week ago. I believe it used to be a timeout when the old login would get disconnected, but on 18E1 it does not seems work. Am I missing something?
Thanks
There's about 25 additional commits over 18B9. Mostly QoS stuff (functional enhancements and gui fixes)....a couple of updated components and a bunch of misc updates. I don't think there's anything that would make me go immediately vs waiting a couple of days for the weekend if it's more convenient.hey quick question. If I am currently on fork -18B9j9527 , what changes are new with 18E1? just deciding if I need to upgrade now, or if I can wait until the weekend.
I don't know if it makes a difference. I'm using AC68 in bridge mode. I was trying to change the auto log out to 10 minutes and it hang. I had to turn off the power and turn it on.I regularly logon between 4 different PCs when I'm doing development, and haven't see a problem. The 'Auto Logout' is set near the bottom of the Administration > System page. Did you a do a factory reset recently which would reset it to 'Disable'?
It just increments by 1/4 db if I remember right. So..
106 = 25
107 = 25.25
108 = 25.5
..etc
edit: so 100 if I'm right.
