My apologies....
for going silent over the last month. I had a family emergency which pretty much turned my life upside down, at least for the foreseeable future. Things are a little quieter now, so I'll be able to spend a bit more time back here.
I have a new release which was ready to go, which I hope to have up shortly and I'll be trying to catch up with any posts/questions/PMs. Please be patient. Thanks.
I would guess that interest will only grow as 380.70 ages and no longer safely serves n66 and ac66 users. I have no contingency plan for the day that you stop doing this, sooo... thanks.Well, it's nice to see there's still at least a passing interest in this fork.....over 3300 views to this thread since I posted the new release!
Appreciate the continued support.
Yes, I would gladly donate a few beers (or coffees) for everything done.Working well on my N66U. For most of us with >100Mb internet, our older routers still serve us well so your efforts aren't in vain, John. You should post a donation link so you're at least somewhat supplemented for your time and work. Thanks and may you continue to be blessed by Odin.

Both Cloudfare and Quad9 support DNSSEC, but do not support DNSCrypt. They do support DNS over TLS, but that isn't supported in the fork (yet....about 50% done). Is there a Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) DNSCrypt option or do I just enter 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 into the DNS fields? Also, anyone know if DNSSEC works with 1.1.1.1?
Interesting [emoji41] Are you using unbound?(yet....about 50% done).
No, stubby....Interesting [emoji41] Are you using unbound?

Looks like cloudflare support dns over https using dnscrypt no?
https://developers.cloudflare.com/1.1.1.1/dns-over-https/cloudflared-proxy/
No, dnscrypt-proxy supports dnscrypt + DNS-over-HTTP. Cloudflare is simply suggesting using that client for DoH.
I think we are saying the same thing [emoji4] I meant to say using dnscrypt-proxy client pointed to cloudflare using dns over https.

Yes. Download the new firmware to your PC and unzip it. Then just load the TRX file from the router's web interface. All your settings will be preserved.I am currently running version 32E4 on a RT-N66U, to upgrade do I just go in and upload version 33E4? Also will I have to re-enter all setting or will they carry over?

PayPal.Me is a faster, easier way to get paid through PayPal. Just share your very own PayPal.Me link (paypal.me/YourName) with your friends and family, and they can send you money for lunch, chip in for a group gift, or any other reason.
