Make sure 'Start with WAN' is set to Yes (assuming you are talking about VPN Client).VPN switch will not stick on reboot? Switches on and saves OK, but once the system has been rebooted, its off again.

A quick update for another reported problem. This only affects OpenVPN server setup, so you can decide on your update requirements.
